Check it out! New federal rules about lead paint!
Whether you are a homeowner or rental property owner, contractor or home repair volunteer, when you paint or renovate an older home you are likely to encounter old lead paint and release lead dust. EPA posted the Final Rule about the Lead Renovation, Repair, and Painting Program on April 22, 2008. To work lead safe and clean, most of the supplies are inexpensive–duct tape, plastic, masks.
