Homebuyer classes prepare people to buy their first home through a free HUD and MGIC nationally certified seminar covering information about real estate agents, mortgage lenders, inspectors, insurance agents, and budget and credit counseling. As well, we cover fair lending practices to avoid predatory lending buying a home as well as fair housing laws. Our classes in Spanish and English are coordinated by NCAHC (North Carolina Association of Housing Counselors) certified housing counselors.
